Body Acupuncture

Good health is a positive state rather than merely the absence of illness or pain. 

Very fine (a hair's breadth) single use sterile needles are inserted at points along the channels of energy appropriate to the condition being treated. The body's own healing system is stimulated and the correct balance restored. The aim is to treat the cause of the condition as well as your symptoms, often resulting in (or leading to) a more permanent solution to your health problems. 

Acupuncture is also extremely beneficial in preventing ill health as well as maintaining good health once balance has been attained. The World Health Organisation lists 27 varying conditions for which Acupuncture has been shown to be effective, and trials are ongoing for many more.

Auricular Acupuncture & Ear Seeds

The whole person can be treated by using the ears alone. Ulta tiny needles are used in the ears as a standalone treatment or combined with body acupuncture. Ear seeds of various designs are placed on the ears to provide prolonged treatment while away from clinic. Ear seeds can be used as a standalone treatment for children and young people or in those with a needle phobia as there is no skin puncturing.

Fire Cupping

Static or sliding cupping of back, shoulders or legs. Fire is added to a glass cup causing a vacuum effect when applied to the skin. Used to reduce muscle tightness and pain (similar to a deep tissue massage). Also shifts stagnation, phlegm, colds & coughs. Popular with sports professionals.
